Pristichampus was an ancient crocodile that adapted to hunting on land. Its long legs made it agile on the ground, making it a ferocious predator that would chase down land mammals who would then become its prey. They can grew to approximately three metres in length.

Pristichampsus had heavily armoured skin, and long limbs suggesting a cursorial habitus. It also had hoof-like toes, suggesting that it lived more on land than in the water, and that it therefore probably hunted terrestrial mammals. Pristichampsus's teeth were ziphodont - laterally compressed, sharp, and with serrated edges. Due to their similarity to those of certain theropod dinosaurs they were initially mistaken for theropod teeth, leading paleontologists to believe that some non-avian dinosaurs survived the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event.

By having full concentration the user has the ability to expand its senses and also to the transfer of information that is both contemporary to, and hidden from, the clairvoyant. It is very different from telepathy in that the information is said to be gained directly from an external physical source, rather than being transferred from the mind of one individual to another.

In the battle between Frankenstein and Rael, Seira expands her senses to search the area for humans to prevent causalities. She is yet, the only known Noble, who users this ability.

Special ability in Noblesse manhwa - High-Speed Regeneration

High-Speed Regeneration is a supplementary ability possessed by M-21. Yet, it is still unknown if other races have this kind of ability.

High-Speed Regeneration allows a person to recover from any damage that they sustain by causing them to heal at an increased rate, closing the wounds on their body and causing any limbs that they have lost to grow back. 

While High-Speed Regeneration is indeed a powerful ability, it is not without its flaws. Despite the extent to which it can heal the body, internal organs such as the brain cannot be regenerated; if such irreparable damage is sustained, the rest of the body can continue to regenerate, though to no avail. In addition, if the body is damaged before it has the chance to heal, or if enough damage is inflicted on it at once, then it can be destroyed. It is shown that, after getting attack by the Nobles, who has usual imbued power, M-21 regeneration has slowed to a distant level.

One Piece 686 – The Snow Woman of the Biscuit Room


Summary:

Robin assures Nami and Chopper that she is fine, while Zoro and Monet continue their battle. As Mocha continues to run from the berserk children, she has a flashback of Caesar Clown telling her and some other children about their illness, as well as when she met and made friends with the children. She then cries out pleading to the berserk children to go back to their normal selves.

At the same time, Monet attempts to attack Nami and Chopper but Zoro blocks her attack and Nami responds with a Heat Ball, damaging Monet. Robin, Nami, and Chopper attempt to stop the children again, but Monet blocks the exit out of the Biscuits Room with a snow barrier. Monet transforms into a terrifying demon-like snow woman, and attempts to bite Chopper and Nami but in vain. Robin stops Monet using her Hana Hana no Mi abilities. Zoro then cut down the snow barrier, allowing Robin, Nami, and Chopper to escape from the Biscuits Room and to chase after the children. Monet then comments that Zoro had not been on the offensive at all during his short battle with Monet.

Finally, Sanji, the G-5 Marines and Tashigi arrive at the Biscuits Room. The Marines compliment Monet’s beauty at which she blushes. But she then transforms in her demonic snow body and attacks the Marines. Tashigi counterattacks with a Haki imbued attack, injuring Monet. The Marines seal up the entrance to the room and get ready to find the children.Tashigi declares, however, that she will stay behind in the room and fight Monet.

Bos Primigenius was an ancestor of the present day cows or cattle. It lived in small herds on grassy plains or in the forests. It had a deep connection to humans, and you can also see them drawn on the walls of the lascaux caves in France.

Bos primigenius was a type of large wild cattle which inhabited Europe, Asia and North Africa, but is now extinct; it survived in Europe until 1627. Aurochs bulls are believed to have reached a height of 1.8 meters at the withers, and the cows to have been about 1.5 meters, displaying considerable sexual dimorphism.
The aurochs was regarded as a challenging hunting quarry animal, contributing to its extinction. The last recorded aurochs, a female, died in 1627 in the Jaktorów Forest, Poland, and her skull is now the property of the Livrustkammaren museum in Stockholm, Sweden.

Domestication of bovines occurred in several parts of the world but at roughly the same time, about 8,000 years ago, possibly all derived from the aurochs. In 1920, the Heck brothers, who were German biologists, attempted to recreate aurochs. The resulting cattle are known as Heck cattle or Reconstructed Aurochs, and number in the thousands in Europe today. However, they are genetically and physiologically distinct from aurochs. The Heck brothers' aurochs also have a pale yellow dorsal stripe, instead of white.

Glyptodon ("grooved or carved tooth") was a giant armadillo that lived on grassy plains. It was a slow moving omnivore, but it had the ability to protect itself by hiding its head and tail inside its 2 cm thick shell.

Glyptodon belong to the family Glyptodontidae, lived during the Pleistocene Epoch. It was roughly the same size and weight as a Volkswagen Beetle, though flatter in shape. With its rounded, bony shell and squat limbs, it superficially resembled turtles, and the much earlier dinosaurian ankylosaur, as an example of the convergent evolution of unrelated lineages into similar forms. Glyptodon is believed to have been an herbivore, grazing on grasses and other plants found near rivers and small bodies of water.

summary:

Left alone, Byakuya notes that Ichigo did not answer his request before leaving. Reflecting on this, he contemplates that this is typical of Ichigo, and that he already knows, even without an answer. He expresses that he will leave it to Ichigo, before finally dying, his Zanpakuto crumbling away.

Haschwald steps towards Ichigo, but Juhabach stops him and tries to reason with the Shinigami. He praises him for breaking out of Quilge's jail, but points out that he is heavily injured, asking if he really intends to fight him in such a state. Paying Juhabach no heed, Ichigo asks him if he is the enemy leader. Juhabach answers that he is, but at the same time he is not. Agitated, Ichigo shouts at him, demanding to know if he is the one who made a mess out of Soul Society. Juhabach confirms that he is.

In response, Ichigo flares his Reiatsu. Juhabach tells Haschwald that there is no choice but to destroy the Shinigami. Ichigo attacks him with a Getsuga Tenshō, but the attack proves ineffective. Juhabach effortlessly pins him down and stabs him through the neck with his sword. Remarking that Ichigo is still breathing, he tells Haschwald to take him back to their castle so that they can resuscitate him and recruit him into their army. As he turns away however, he realizes that Ichigo is still conscious, and that his sword has been halted by Blut Vene. Ichigo then swings his sword at him, tearing up the ground around them with his Reiatsu.

One Piece 685 summary:

In the end of chapter 684, Luffy encounted a dragon. The dragon then introduces himself as Momonosuke. He was transformed into a dragon after eating an imperfect Devil Fruit synthesized by Dr. Vegapunk. Momonosuke tells Luffy that he overheard Caesar Clown saying that the experiments he is performing on the kidnapped children will kill all of the children within five years if he is allowed to continue, and the two of them decide to escape the trash disposal area. Suddenly, Momonosuke sees a hallucination of Doflamingo and loses control of himself. He flies upwards by grabbing on clouds, while Luffy grabs on and rides him.

Meanwhile, Usopp, Kinemon, and Brook are searching for Momonosuke, as well as seastone handcuffs at Robin's request. In section D, Smoker appears to have the upper hand in his fight with Vergo, after landing another blow hardened by Haki. Outside Biscuits Room, Tashigi and the other G-5 Marines continue to run from Shinokuni, with Sanji helping by kicking away the Marines who are about to be caught in the gas.

In Biscuits Room, Nami and Chopper are being covered in snow from the blizzard created by Monet's Devil Fruit ability. Robin tries to protect Mocha from the other children, but is attacked by Monet, who impales her through the shoulder with a saber. Zoro says he will fight Monet as she is a Logia user, and asks the others to go on ahead and stop the berserk children.

Oreimo Second Season to Air Next April

The second season of Oreimo will begin airing in April 2013. The announcement was originally made at the stage of Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2012 by the main cast and related staff. And unlike the first season which was produced by AIC Build, the second season will be responsible by A-1 Pictures. Aniplex explained the reason for the studio change that AIC Build has been busy in producing other titles. Also, producer Kashiwagi Shinichiro said the original staff members will be gathered together for the project.

Oreimo is a Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Fushimi, with illustrations provided by Hiro Kanzaki. There have been 11 volumes published since August 2008. A manga adaptation drawn by Sakura Ikeda was serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki G’s Magazine. A 12-episode anime adaptation produced by AIC aired in Japan between October and December 2010.

JManga Ally with Kodansha

The digital manga site JManga has added Kodansha manga to its lineup. This is a pretty big deal for that company, insofar as Kodansha is the largest publisher in Japan. In typical JManga fashion, they load it up right away with a lot of books; their first set is all older titles that were released in English under the Del Rey imprint before Kodansha set up its own North American arm, Kodansha Comics, and took over the Del Rey titles. None of these books is being published by Kodansha Comics, so they are only available via digital or secondhand copies. And they are giving away a free volume: If you sign up with JManga and Tweet the Kodansha news, they will give you 500 points, which is what a typical volume of manga costs on JManga.

What makes this interesting is that Kodansha Comics has its own app, although it hasn’t been updated in quite a while. Their app carries newer series such as Fairy Tail and Arisa (which launched as Del Rey titles) and Cage of Eden (which launched as a Kodansha Comics title). Will the two digital services merge, or will JManga keep the old-but-good stuff and Kodansha update its app?

Back at Honey Bone Lodge, Makarov and the others discuss Lucy's arrest. They begin to think of the possible reasons but are only aware that it had to have something to do with the Eclipse Project. Natsu angrily tries to head out towards to save Lucy but is stopped by Makarov telling him not to do anything reckless yet tells him they will have to act one way or another.

In the cells of Mercurius, Lucy and Yukino think of a way to escape and discuss the Eclipse Plan. Yukino tells Lucy that she wants go through with the plan so she would still be with her loving sister, Sorano who was taken away by Zeref worshipers.

The next day, the final day of the Grand Magic Games begin with each team entering the Domus Flau. Team Fairy Tail enters last, replacing Natsu with Juvia because outside the arena the plan to save Lucy is set into motion with Natsu, Mirajane, Wendy and the Exceeds heading towards Mercurius using the Grand Magic Games as a distraction.

Shunsui is struck by multiple shots from his opponent, who then summons the Soldat to complete the destruction of Seireitei. As the Soldat over the survivors and wreck Seireitei, Juhabach tells Haschwald that the Zero Division will soon emerge and that they should withdraw and wait for them. However, an explosion in the air above Juhabach surprises him at that moment.

In the beginning of this chapter, Smoker and Vergo start to fight each other in the S.A.D. Room. At the same time, Sanji, Tashigi, and the G-5 Marines are running through the battle torn B-block when a gas tank explodes, causing Shinokuni to be let in.

Caesar Clown, sitting on the second floor of R-block with his subordinates (Vegapunk's old room), instructs that the doors to C and D-blocks be closed, driving everyone to the first floor of R-block where a trap is ready to expose them to Shinokuni. When one of Caesar's subordinates questions the nature of the gas, Caesar then makes a speech to his subordinates, saying that the poisonous gas bomb four years ago was Vegapunk's doing and that Caesar tried to stop him. However, in a flashback it is revealed that Caesar constructed the weapon himself, and when he was told to stop and banished from the science squad, he set it off.

The gates connecting area B to areas C and D have now been shut. In the basement, Luffy asks something if it just spoke. Luffy meets a dragon and asks what it is. The dragon responds by asking Luffy who he is.

Rin released from Kakashi's grip, Kakashi and Obito watch her die, causing them to awaken their Mangekyo Sharingan. Wooden spikes begin to grow from Obito's right side as he commences his assault. Mercilessly, Obito uses a combination of Kamui and the Wood Release: Cutting Technique to kill all the Kiri-nin on the battlefield. Amazed that the young Uchiha could already use Wood Release, Spiral Zetsu noted that he now knew why Madara had chosen this young man.

Realising that they could not win, the Kiri-nin decide to pull out but not before retrieving Rin's body. Obito, who was not about to let any such thing happen, slips through several more Kiri-nin and then slaughters the ninja that had tried to retrieve Rin's body. All the while questioning where he was, a blood-spattered Obito crushes the remaining Kiri-nin between giant branches, and as he stands in a pool of his opponents' blood, comes to the conclusion that he must be in hell.

Ragnarok is a longsword. Its initial owner is unclear and currently in the hands of The Lord.

Rai retrieves it from the temple connected by a passage to the basement of his mansion. Ragnarok - 'a sword with a strength so terrifying that the humans have come to associate it with the end of the world' - is the previous Lord's soul weapon. It seems he intended to leave it in Rai's care and made the place off-limits until its landlord came back. For as yet undisclosed reason Rai can't use this Soul Weapon. Even so the previous Lord was adamant about leaving his Soul Weapon to Rai - even if as decoration. In his encounter with the current Lord, Rai gives his Ragnarok to the Lord. But The Lord questions the gesture of Rai since her father has left this Ragnarok to him, not her. The rightful ownership of it will be clarified with the revelations of the previous Lord.

Moeritherium was the beast from Lake Moeris. They lived during the Eocene epoch. It was an elephant type animal that lived in marshes, shallow rivers, lakes, etc. It was also called the stegodon, but it holds no direct relation to the modern day elephant. It like eating the soft grass and plants by the riverside. Its trunk was about as long as a pig and it had 4 short legs. As it was fat, it moved slowely and most likely couldn't swim fast either, due to its habitats drying up. It went into extinction.

The Moeritherium species were pig-like animals that lived about 37-35 million years ago, and resembled modern tapirs or pygmy hippopotamuses. They were smaller than modern elephants, standing only 70 centimetres high at the shoulder and were about 3 metres long. They are believed to have wallowed in swamps and rivers, filling the ecological niche now filled by the hippopotamus. The shape of their teeth suggest that they ate soft water vegetation.

The shape of the skull suggests that Moeritherium did not have an elephant-like trunk, but it may have had a broad flexible upper lip like a tapir's for grasping aquatic vegetation. The second incisor teeth formed small tusks, although these would have looked more like the teeth of a hippo than a modern elephant.
